As part of the draconic energy she gains, Jessica later gains the ability to change her body into having the physiology and aspects of a real dragon. What is more, is that since draconic energy is unique, Lori is unable to draw any red aura from Jessica at all since the energy isn't aura at all. The victim’s perception can be altered, causing them to see their environment as ominous and the user as dark and foreboding, or even seen as a monster. When one is near Jessica while the aura is active, it evokes and increases fear and horror in others, causing the target’s brain to release fear-inducing chemicals. Jessica can surround herself in a ferocious draconic energy that can induce fear into the hearts of men and animals alike. Much like Stands with versatile abilities, LATIAS can freely control draconic energy in many ways. Jessica can also use the draconic energy to manipulate the elements and properties that a dragon is capable of using. When Jessica touches the image of a dragon, she can control the draconic energy she gains, which is seen as a light green spiritual energy that constitutes the life-force of all dragons (even if they are a mythological creature) and flows all through Jessica’s body. LATIAS grants Jessica the ability to draw “draconic energy” from anything that resembles that of a dragon, whether it bears the image, attributes or even the physical properties of one. She is capable of performing dragon-related magical feats from siphoning draconic energy, but it truly depicts magic that is exerted by dragons, since most dragons are described as magical creatures to their very bones, and the source of their magic being unknown. In folklore that have different kinds of dragons, Jessica can manipulate the energy into giving her properties of different types of dragons, such as having wings and a muscular tail, morphing into a serpentine form and growing scales, etc. LATIAS can enhance Jessica's bodily functions further and further to that of a real dragon, even as much as turning her into an actual one. It can absorb the energy from anything that is reminiscent of any dragon, and transfer it to its User Jessica, who can manifest that energy into powerful dragon-like abilities for her to manifest in physical abilities. Becky's friend buying a Ouija board so she could talk to her in the afterlife is one of the most adorable things I've ever seen.LATIAS is a rare and unique Stand, alongside Victoria's Grotle, as its ability revolves around the magical and physical properties of dragons, mythological creatures of many tales of folklore. Did I mention that I think this pilot needs to get a full series? So yeah, this was absolutely amazing, From the amazing and stylish art style to the grim and edgy but still hilarious writing, The stereotypical, but still very fun characters and interactions, Becky Prim is one pilot episode you shouldn't miss! And I'm sorry. And even though the characters are basically just your standard everyday highschool stereotypes, I still liked them a lot, Becky (Voiced by Karl Hadrika) being your everyday angsty teenager, Her shy friend Ello, Popular girl Jessica, Norville the dorky nerd, Yeah, they're basically stereotypes that needs to be fleshed out more and a full series is exactly what's gonna fix this issue. My guy, Karl Hadrika (Who have worked on SpongeBob SquarePants and the new Animaniacs) is a master of his craft, and he really knows what he's doing, He's very promising, Especially as a writer, His art style has that very cool, nostalgic, laid back, early 2000s feel cartoons used to have that I can't get enough of, While still managing to look new and fresh, It's really cool to see. Even though this short was more of a glorified storyboard than anything, I still think Becky Prim is one of the best cartoon pilots I've ever seen in a long time, So full of charm and character, I can't actually believe this pilot didn't get green lit. When I first saw this pilot on YouTube, I didn't really think much about it, I just thought It was another by the numbers pilot episode for a cartoon that has a lot of cool ideas and concepts and some cute character design and nothing else, but oh boy.
